Welcome to StreetDreamsTexas as we wrap up our 22nd year in the classic and muscle car business. Tri-Five Chevrolets (1955-1957) have played an important part in the evolution of America's car culture from the moment they began roaming the streets in 1955. Blessed with timeless styling, relatively tidy proportions, and plenty of performance, these cars sped out of the showroom as quickly as they got down the highway. The exceptions to this were the stunning Nomad 2-door wagons, of which a total of 22,897 were produced over 3 years. This gorgeous Colonial Cream 1957 Nomad is the rarest of the bunch, with a total of around 6264 examples (numbers vary) produced. Beneath the classic 'gunsight' hood is a healthy-sounding example of Chevy's ubiquitous 350 V8 that's sporting an Edelbrock 4bbl carburetor and aluminum intake, nice stainless headers, an aluminum radiator with twin electric fans, and Mallory ignition. Additional features include power steering, power front disc brakes, Vintage Air A/C, 700R4 automatic transmission with overdrive, newer gauges, AM/FM stereo, chromed tilt steering column, and 16" Foose wheels wrapped in radial tires (205/60R16 F, 225/60R16 R). This beauty has good chrome, trim, paint, upholstery, and carpet as well as an excellent chassis and pans clearly visible in the images. 1957 Nomads accounted for only .4% of Chevrolet passenger cars that year, so who knows how many are left? One more jewel from the team that makes dreams a reality. Street Dreams 830-997-1950) is a full service dealership that can assist with worldwide delivery, insurance, and financing options.
